Ghostwire issues in heroic
I got ghostwire tokyo in epic games for free and downloading it on heroic and when i start playing it was only blackscreen at first (i also use wine ge) then when i reboot it and start the game it works but only in the menu because when i click the start game it shows blackscreen but the mangohud works properly no fps drop then i try to use proton experimental then when i start in heroic it hangs not the entire heroic only the game and i cant stop it so i close heroic

Make sure you are using
Wine-GE-Proton (not Proton-GE-Proton nor Wine-GE-Proton-LoL), then check Prefer system libraries option in settings > others
that should fix that
please use the search next time, this was asked multiple times in the last few days

if you follow the link it basically means you hammered some server and are on a 24hr cooldown iirc.. i've seen that on other games if you are constantly deleting and recreating the prefix

I finished this game on heroic a couple of months ago when I got free on amazon prime. I think I just used proton experimental. No other tinkering needed

I try to use that but when i click play it was playing but it didn't show up then when i will stop it, i cant stop i think it hangs so i just exit heroic

try disabling mangohud
(the black screen issue is a common problem with flatpaks, you don't really need that setting if you use other package type)
also try disabling the
use dedicated gpu setting, for some people checking it actually selects the wrong GPU, leaving that off let's dxvk select the right one automaticallyxenial-blackOP•2y ago
