LOD Chunks are only previously rendered chunks

in this screenshot my LOD distance is on 256, I have

Enable Distant Generation

Enable Distant Generation

enabled, and it still is seemingly not actually generating those far out chunks. I am on a single player world, my renderdistance is on 32 and CPU is on balanced. How do I make it actually generate these chunks without having to enter all of them?
