its like there is an invisible obstruction in the corners (this applies to all apps)

Everything - apps from the main image, flatpaks, containers, etc - Other than this my experience has been amazing! Also does this on both wayland and xorg - but I now realize its just doing this on my Nvidia systems... 4090 and 3070 - just checked on a ryzen integrated graphics laptop and no issues there

Does changing the screen resolution do anything?

oh interesting - 1920x1080 does the invisible obstruction - 1920x1200 is perfectly fine

Maybe the monitor you are using has a 16:10 aspect ratio?

I'm using a ton of machines - and any display that is 1920x1080 - has the obstruction

I'm an ideal tester - experiencing this gem of an os from many angles

Since you said it's only a problem on systems with Nvidia GPU's it might be something to do with the Nvidia driver.

Oh for sure - 435 stable I do prefer the stable though

Does this happen with other DE's or just gnome? Not sure if you have tested that.

You coud use

🤞 🤞 Already prepared to need "container" nautilus oof wild trek in the wilderness - and this is def an nvidia/xorg issue... driver "535 stable" hardware support is all over the place...
