Alternate log in just gives me "error try a different code" every time

I'm following all the steps perfectly, not sure what's up, very awkward on the steam deck too As title, thanks for any help!

Think there may have been something wrong server side as I just left it for a few hours and tried again and it worked Thansk anyways
