Hello,
For moving my SD card to another steam deck, do I redownload the games and that will overwrite the game files or …? I see the game files on my SD game but I have not downloaded any of the games from GOG.

you can copy everything from
~/.var/app/com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl which should retain all of your past Heroic settings and metadataconstant-blueOP•2y ago

Old internal drive? The games are on my SD card. Im putting the SD card in another Steam deck.

The folder I’m talking about is from the internal drive. It contains all the metadata that would tell the other Deck what the games are and where they are installed
If you don’t have the old Deck anymore, just use the import game option when installing a game. You can then point it to your existing installation folder
