50FPS when singleplayer but hosting the world as a local multiplayer triples FPS to 150.

As per the title I am playing Calamity on the most recent version of Tmodloader, all mods up to date and I am having some serious performance issues despite having a more than capable CPU of a Ryzen 7 3700x. Im struggling to maintain 60fps in a singleplayer world but as soon as I launched it as a multiplayer world to see if theres a difference, the usage of my CPU skyrocketed and the FPS tripled to 150 on average. How can I achieve this in singleplayer. Im baffled as to why a seemingly more intensive process of running a world can result in improved performance.

Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page. If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. I have also done any and everything possible to troubleshoot poor performance as per the guide on github and any possible source in the discord, reddit, or online. The only single fix for my performance issues as of lately was hosting my own singeplayer world as a multiplayer local world.
