Swiping up kills game window

Environment: Debian 12, Wayland, heroic 2.12.0, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, Wine-GE Latest. Steps to Repeat: 1. launch game windowed mode 2. observe game shows in window 3. swipe up on touchpad (three finger swipe up), or press Super Key to expose running applications in desktop 4. observe that the game window in 2. closes silently Is that supposed to happen? Will the status of the game be saved in that case or did it crash?

oh I noticed this actually this is probably a gnome bug I'll test on a random game real quick (in kde)

found the fix, in advanced launch arguments set "-force-opengl" well it sortof works the window doesn't crash anymore silently, but the rest of the desktop and cursor are sluggish and refresh speed is greatly reduced when navigating between multiple desktops and windows. Still better than loosing the game progress completely.

is it a unity game? Anyway you can try a wine virtual desktop

Thank you for the suggestion tried that, and would not launch at all. Also setting that in winecfg, winecfg will not launch either I configured the virtual display 1600x900 to match the game. Maybe should have left it at default. The game is a Double Damage game, not sure what you mean by Unity.

That's odd. I don't know why it wouldn't launch By is it a unity game, I mean does it use the unity game engine

Probably a different issue but when selecting Fullscreen in launcher it also silently crashes, only Windowed Fullscreen, and Window works for me.

Easy answer touchpad always kills every win window my advice is to use alt+tab or use super if you are in gnome or alter kde to use super as workspace overview It's a gnome issue i have the same thing
