prince of Persia Lost Crown
It launches Ubisoft launcher but gets stuck on asking for an activation key. Does anyone know how to get past that on Steam Deck?

I figured it out. I had to launch Epic store on my PC so it linked the purchase to my Ubisoft Connect account. Then I just used heroic and it worked.

Because it didn’t work for me on steam deck at first. I had to go on my computer and download it and play it. Then it did the linking to Ubisoft on there. Then I was able to go back to my steam deck and it actually worked

Actually we run the ubisoft connection automatically. This sounds like it was not triggered
There is a command how to do this. Let me check
Access flatpak container with bash:
flatpak run --command=bash com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl
Authenticate with legendary:
legendary auth
Link Epic and Ubisoft (Note: You need a ubisoft account):
legendary activate -U
Once linked you could install and play the game directly from ubisoft launcher if wantedother-emerald•17mo ago

You need todo that to run the game. You can't play ubisoft games from epic without linking your ubisoft account.
Thats why it worked for some poeple that used the official launcher because they linked there once their ubisoft account. With the commands above you can do this with the command line on your steam deck

Can confirm that following the above steps in desktop mode on steam deck (via konsole) got it to successfully link and launch ubisoft connect for the game. The game did have to update in ubisoft as well before it would launch, and it hung for a while, so if anyone else gets there, be patient or restart the update download.
Unfortunately I had to run to work before actually checking if it would run the game after. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here!
Edit: can confirm it works now, just takes a while for ubisoft connect to initialize the game when launching

Once epic and ubisoft is connected every ubisoft game should work from my experience.
If you check your epic account in the web you can see the connection. Also the game is added to your ubisoft account and you can launch it directly from ubisoft without epic or heroic launcher from the ubisoft launcher
