Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page.
If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on
tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. If you need a visual guide to this process watch this: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/assets/4522492/3f4efa43-753f-4733-b630-ba85e711340cflat-fuchsiaOP•2y ago
Since I am looking for an old version of the game I don’t have such log files and there is no information on such versions in the FAQs page as I said no sure if this is the right place
That's an automatic message, don't worry about it
0.11 would be 1.3 tmodloader, so you can just choose 1.3-legacy in steam
That's v0.11.8.9. If you specifically need 0.11.7.7, I don't know why you would, the same mods should work on 0.11.8.9, you can download it directly from github

Is the coding in 0.11.8.9 the same system as 0.11.7.7 ( if you need context I am willing to provide )
Yeah, should be
What is the context?

I am trying to make a mod using nothing but chat gpt and with only minor coding knowledge of course chat gpt hasn’t been updated so his code is for older version if mod loader a complication I didn’t foresee so now my plan is to make said mod pack and then simply update it to the current version to get the mod pack into the TModLoader community. That would be possible right ?
Anyways how are you today jopojelly
Sounds harder than just making the mod normally. Most modders don't know how to code when they start, they just follow the guides and examples and tweak them as they learn.
You can ask in #mod-development if anyone has actually had success doing what you are thinking. Most of the time people come to the help chat with broken code from chatgpt and they can't fix it since they aren't actually learning anything, so I'm not optimistic

Ok thank you jopojelly
I will try to mod in 1.4 and work my way from there
