Lining and Waxing Jackets (Barbour Jacket Maintainence)
Hi All - curious if anyone has taken a Canvas Jacket that was originally unlined and unwaxed, and has taken them to a seamstress etc. to have the jacket lined AND waxed. Curious what you paid approximately, I know you can wax your own jacket, but thought I could save some time since I would need to also line the jacket.
Additionally, curious if the owners of the traditional Barbour (Bedale, Ashby, Beufort, etc) jackets wax their own or send it to Barbour to re-wax every 1-2 years. Just checked out pricing and it seems quite expensive to ship from the US (i.e. $20 shipping + $50 re-waxing fee).
