502 Error when connecting to my site

Hi there, I've been having a really hard time trying to figure out how to get my website up over the last week. Ideally I want to be able to proxy my site using nginxpm so that I can point the domain to a specific internal IP, then on top of that I want to use Cloudflare's Proxy feature so that I can mask my public IP. I'm running a server with proxmox and I have an LXC Debian 12 container running nginx and docker for nginx proxy manager. This container exists on a vlan. For my router I'm using OPNsense and I believe that I've port forwarded and setup the correct firewall rules. On Cloudflare I have an A name pointing to the correct website, and I've disabled Proxying for now so that the cert can be verified. I also have the SSL level set to Full. I've tried using the Cloudflare Certs, nginxpm's certbot with Let's Encrypt, and even running my own ACME client as a plugin on OPNsense. I'm not sure if there is an invalid cert that is causing the 502 error. I've also setup a very basic index.html just to see if it will load and I believe that I've configured nginx correctly as well. So I want to ask if there is anything else I should configure or if I'm looking in the wrong place. It very well could be a firewall issue, but I'm entirely unsure. Any help is appreciated!
