Notifications not appearing in Windows 11
Just installed on my Win11 machine, just wanted to have a notification sent to my desktop. I see my desktop in HA as "notify.desktop", but cant get even the test notification to appear in the windows app.
I went through the documentation and I believe I am setup correctly. Suggestion to try or need more info?
troubleshooting section might need some frequent-problems section, as I feel that might be what I have https://www.hass-agent.io/latest/getting-help/
Side suggestion, might add a new tag for setup/new user.

And I will look into tag modification at some point. There should've been a bot message here as well but it obviously failed.
originally installed myself, didnt work, sooo then found discord link, found install instructions on new doc, read through and double checked.
You will want refollow those instructions if you want the new version. As you most likely downloaded the old version. You can check by searching windows apps for hass.agent and seeing if it contains
2.0.0 or checking the version number in the app
If you grab me the version number I can get you setup on whatever version you currently have, however it would be better if you ensure you were on 2.0.1im old, hahhh, uninstalling, restarting pc, gonna redo everything
All good, uninstalling restarting is the usual in windows anyway 😂

I believe I got 2.0.1 now
this does not give me a notification

Go ahead and open up windows settings and search for notifications.
You should be able to scroll down to wherever HASS.Agent is and make sure notifications are allowed
