What is the difference between preview and production builds ?

Is the support and availability the same, or are there differences ?

Support and availability is the same, preview urls are on different urls and are assigned to branches while the production url will be on the main project.pages.dev domain plus any custom domains if you dont change them to point to preview. Preview can also have different environment variables to production, so you can think of it as a staging or development environment to preview your changes before merging them in.
