Steam Controller mostly working but...

Hi, so I have a Steam Controller that I use to get around the desktop when I'm in bed and it works well with X11, everything work as it should but with Wayland there are problems, I tried a few distros and they all exhibit different degrees of problems with it, ranging from invisible cursor (most of them, not Bazzite) to opening a remote desktop app as soon as I use the touchpad (Fedora). The only one that had none is Nobara so they must be doing something extra, Bazzite is the second best and my prefered distro, the only issue with it is the back buttons (Steam calls them LG and RG) linked to mouse 4 and 5 but it doesn't do anything for some reason. Is there a way to make it work?

Nobara and us should be using the same thing to fix steam input in wayland (extest), but based on what you're doing it may be that Nobara is shipping extra patches for additional mouse buttons somewhere I'll see what I can find
