Here as well. It seems to have started just as Rockstar pulled support for win 7 and 8 - the update somehow made it broken on wine.

I can't post it right now, but it seems the source of all trouble is the update that came after Rockstar dropped support for older Windows versions. It's not the compatibility per se, as they still support win10, but something changed under the hood of the launcher.

Nope. As I said it happened after pulling the support for win7+, but not because of it. Something else changed in the launcher as well.
