Legend of Grimrock 2 (GOG)
Having a bad time trying to run this one. On Proton 8, it runs but the menu is invisible. On Wine-GE-latest, it fails on launching with an error
<anonymous>:1:122: E5005: Function "tex2D" is not defined. cd3. When trying to use the dedicated GPU, it doesn't launch (to be fair that seems to happen to all games on the dGPU - something doesn't work well between Nvidia and Heroic - I probably need to give flatpak an additional permission? The Nvidia dGPU works fine on non-flatpak Steam)9 Replies

you should be able to install DirectX and MSVC2010 from
/home/lizsquir/Games/Heroic/Legend of Grimrock II

Do I understand correctly that I should use Advanced > set alternative exe and run them one by one as if I started the game?
