The Relationship Between Effect and io-ts in the Current Project

Just one question: how is the »relationship« between effect and io-ts ? Since my last update io-ts was based on fp-ts which now somewhat a part of effect, right, isn't it? So would like to use something like io-ts in conjuction with effect. Will that work, or do I run risk in some sort of compatiblity issues, or is there some special derivative of io-ts for effect??
