How to style the column that is currently used for sorting differently?

I have a lot of columns in the list view and on a big monitor I am often lost which one is being used for sorting, so something like being able to add some background color or border to the whole column or at least per cell individually would be nice. Any idea how to do it? I am unable to identify any css class that is different for currently sorted-by column cells.

Thanks, but I somehow need to target only the column that is being used for sorting (when you click on the ^ icon after the column text label)
