Standard competitive 12-12 overtime the teams play two rounds, one on attack and one on defense. For all players in every round, they get 5,000 credits and have their ultimate points set to being 3 short of what they need to use it. If a team wins both these rounds, they win the game.
Premier 12-12 overtime rules are different and are as follows: The first team to win 12 rounds gains Overtime Priority. Team with Overtime Priority chooses Starting Side for Overtime by voting, using a simple majority of the 5 players. Teams must win by 2.
