Trying to install Reloaded II, running into issues with Winetricks and wineserver. (bazzite-ally)
is it normal for winetricks that's shipped/installed to be like over a year old? it's reporting winetricks-20230212 (latest is 20240105)
anyhow, here's the issue i have.
I'm currently trying to install Reloaded II to manage my P5R mods, following the official docs (https://reloaded-project.github.io/Reloaded-II/LinuxSetupGuide/)
following the guide, running
winetricks dotnet48 just throws an error about wineserver not found!
trying to run winecfg gives me an error of could not exec wineserver
Info:
wine: wine-9.1 (Staging), wineserver32 and wineserver64 exists and reports as 9.1
winetricks: version 20230212.
This is my first real go around using an immutable distro so I don't really know where to start, and searching up for the issues I'm encountering also didn't help for me.Solution:Jump to solution

oh god. i didn't realize there's case sensitivity in the file explorer too
that's gonna make updating reloaded pretty funny considering for whatever reason all the letters of my old reloaded-ii from windows are all lowercase
