Planetscale pricing changes (hobby plan not available)

Does anyone has any suggestion on which db should i use. I am trying to build a personal project and i do not have the budget to pay $29 a month just for a personal project. Can anyone recommend db service (like planetscale hobby tier) which has a good free tier. I am using the t3 stack with the App Router. Thanks.

Try https://neon.tech (postgres) or https://turso.tech (sqlite) 👀

Cockroach gives you more if I remember correctly but they use a non-standard postgres which is a hassle Ive heard neon has had some problems with reliability no? Turso seems fantastic tho

I only use it to host umami.is there, but I didn't know I had that problem 😦

You probably know more then I do then. I just remember this tweet from nexxel who moved from neon to planetscale due to reliability https://twitter.com/nexxeln/status/1730275657945587921?t=TIbBa-vxMfL8648DxTqE2Q
