Chip Wars, by Chris Miller - book summary

I recently read this ultra interesting book. It's very holistic and I admire the author's expertise to encapsulate it in text as stories. Spans around how Micron's memory design technology was made forgery; AMD finding workarounds from US laws to sell their chips in China; How a TI employee then went to build world's leading semiconductor fab;

Because someone has rewritten better than I could, here's the share:

A couple of months back, my wife complained about the delay in the delivery of her debit card. The reason cited was an apparent "Chip Shortage".
