How do I find long sleeve shirts that fit me?
The problems follow: I’m short (5’5) with broad shoulders and a 40” chest, but weirdly short arms. When I got measured at men’s warehouse, they said I need 31” sleeves which don’t seem to exist anywhere. Even brands specifically for short guys don’t have that sleeve length in my size. The pic attached is the best fitting long sleeve shirt I have, it’s a medium from J Crew that I found at goodwill, would you say it fits me? Anyone else have this problem/any advice? (Also I know it’s wrinkly and I’m grungy rn lol but I’m just asking if it fits)

in my opinion, this shirt is a bit too slim on you and you could opt for a larger size. I’m short as well, and I’ll usually go for the best chest fit, (sizing up) then get the body and sleeves shortened at a tailor for $10-15 if the larger size is too long on me. (or crop it yourself!)
You can either buy OTR shirts that fit except in the sleeves and have that tailored or have the button on the cuff moved so it sits in the right place. Or go MTM from brands like proper cloth or ratio
Thanks guys, I was thinking I might need a tailor in the end, glad to hear it shouldn’t be too pricey to alter sleeves 👍
I have a short torso for my arm length and height, and after going to the gym regularly it's just a worse issue now with my larger chest. I use proper cloth or take my shirts to the tailor, the tailor runs $10-20 per shirt for shortening.
