Glare Disassembly
Trying to disassemble my Glare. It was all fine with the stock bottom, but it won't budge or move at all after trying to do the same thing with the Brass bottom. Posted a picture below as to show that the screws have all been removed. Is there anything that I can do, or am I just going about it the wrong way?

Did you use force brake pad? If the pad is skewed and pasted, it can be difficult to disassemble.
Grab the top case and gently shake it to try to disassemble it
Hey there, I didn't use any forcebreak pads. I gently shaked it for a little bit while lifting it up, and it's freed now but it took my pcb's life along with it
It's too chad of a keyboard
Yeah, comparing it with the stock bottom, the brass bottom is just an extremely tight fit -- or at least this one is
The PCB is damaged and it breaks my heart. I think I can just re-solder the connector. It's a coated product, so you can feel a little tight.
Yeah, it’s a shame but it is what it is. Unfortunately, I don’t have a soldering kit — old one broke. What PCBs in the store are compatible with the Glare? I’d love to type on this again haha

Thank you! Didn't realise it'd be that pricey, kinda tight on cash right now so is it okay for me to buy it in a couple of week's time, then email you? I have an office keyboard that I can use in the meanwhile, so at least I'll still be able to go day to day doing stuff
you could also check locally, soldering back the jst is pretty simple. Maybe a local store or someone from you local community could repair it for ya.
Yeah, sure! I'll try that
