Hello everyone,
Iām reaching out to this community in hopes of finding a solution to a persistent issue Iāve been experiencing with Valorant. For the past seven months, Iāve been unable to launch the game on my system. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, including various troubleshooting steps and even reinstalling my operating system, the problem persists.
Hereās a brief overview of the issue:
- The game refuses to launch, with no specific error message.
- Iāve tried running certain commands as an administrator, checking unsigned files with sigverif, adjusting settings in my BIOS, and even using a VPN.
- Iāve also reinstalled my system, which temporarily resolved the problem, but after a day the issue returned.
- Iāve been in contact with Riot Gamesā support team and have followed their suggestions, but unfortunately, none have been successful so far. Iām now turning to you, the community, in hopes that someone might have encountered a similar issue and found a solution.
Please note that Iām willing to try different solutions, but Iād prefer to avoid drastic measures like reinstalling my operating system again. If anyone has any suggestions or advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hmm if it was temporarily solved by reinstalling the system perhaps you have installed something that conflicts with vanguard?
Can you try a clean boot and only letting vgc and Microsoft services be allowed to run maybe
Go to C:\Riot Games\Valorant\Live\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ And run the file Valorant-Win64-Shipping.exe
I can confirm that it's not Service related.
all services through
msconfig were disabled.

those are basically the only services needed for Windows to be running (i know that cuz i'm a Software Dev that goes quite deep into this)
the only exclusion was Logitech, but i had tested it without it aswell, no success.
Open cmd as admin
icacls "C:\Riot Games" /grant Users:F /t /c
Make sure you arenāt running the game as an administrator
it's in E:\ keep that in mind

You could try reinstalling it on the windows drive or just change the command to have an E instead of the C

it's also not trying to run it as Admin in any way possible
Open the security tab
Go to advanced and make sure youāre the owner of the object
Also try to disable inheritance

E:\Riot Games\VALORANT (including childeren) has been disabled and my user account is the only one that has Full Access to it now.
