[REQUEST] Mod/Plugin/Modpack Extension
Not sure if this is in the right spot or not but if not, please remove and let me know 🙂
With blueprint Not exactly familiar with it yet is it possible that something could be made along the lines with Minecraft Mod, Plugin and Modpack one click installers.
I know there are a few of them out there already but some of the developers are 1 outdated, 2 lack support, or 3 give you bare minimum files and you have to hardcode the rest... (I understand not everything is simple but providing an addon and making you go into 10 different folders and replacing code is a little extreme at times)
So what I really am getting at is, can this be made to read from Spigot API, Curse API and other plugin platforms by chance?

Someone is working on a plugin installer.
Awesome, I know a modpack one would be a huge hit. It is with WISP which im sure you know of lol just I can't stand it not being open sourced so I moved back to ptero
Btw me
Lol
Just saw that, it looks good. Any thoughts on modpack one?
I will make a modpack installer too
yay
But after I do the plugin installer
You are amazing, thank you!!!!
I know
Hehe
Alright now, don't hike your big boy pants to high now 🤣
Feel free to check out https://builtbybit.com/resources/lumenvm.36613/
Lol
You're telling me.. this can pretty much replace SolusVM
Nah
It can just run small vms on ptero
i mean it could replace it
Would just be confined to ptero
how do you provide IPv4 addresses though?
also, does it still use containers or KVM?
Shares with host
Just qemu
that's really terrible though
no one would want to share the ipv4 with anyone else
Well its going to cost a host basically nothing to use it
and if you are just using it to run a standalone application. its not going to be detreimental. If you actually wanted a proper hosting system then i would hope you wouldn't be smooth brained enough to have a different solution that isn't nested nested virtualisation
Any host looking to be in the industry for a while definitely would not use ptero to host vms.
Addon is good for hobby but not for selling
I am aware. I have been hosting for a good few years
And i believe it was designed and made really as a POC / Throwaway machines
Which is good for security researchers too
why'd you pay 25$ for it in the first place then?
aside from the developer's efforts
It's 14.99$ :purp:
But it isn't meant to replace a hypervisor completely, pterodactyl isn't meant for that
oh yeah I forgot 15$ is cheap in other countries
Lmao
yeah well
for 15$ you could get 3x mcdonalds menus here
not just a burger
yeah
Here you can barely get 1 for that
Large bigmac is probably $15
I just checked my local area, I refuse to eat mcdonalds but a meal for a large bigmac meal is $10 and a large double bigmac meal is $13
I could have 1.1 BigMacs in my area
The problem with McDonald's and a lot of such companies. Is that they used to be really affordable, and now have become a norm and have just done their prices x2.
@Emma same with the Albert Heijn, if you actually compare their prices to the Jumbo you'll notice that the AH is making big bucks
I did not read the context of this conversation, but yes, that's true.
Someone: starts a forum post about a mod manager
The post later: a conversation about McDonald's
@TheAngelzOutlaw There is a modpack extension now: https://www.sourcexchange.net/products/modpack-installer-for-blueprint
Modpack Installer for Blueprint
An addon which allows you to one-click install "Minecraft: Java Edition" modpacks right from the comfort of your Pterodactyl Panel. Now with Blueprint support.
So went to install it using nebula but get this now https://i.imgur.com/WORslB2.png
The install completed and shows under the extensions tab but provided this error and does not show on sidebar
looks like you are merging blueprint and standalone mods
I have 4 blueprints installed that's all
i don't think this exists on the default pterodactyl source code

Nebula, simple footers, simple favicons, and then the mod pack installer
I'll reinstall the panel tomorrow when I'm back around my PC and start from there again and see of anything happens.
alrighty
@TheAngelzOutlaw could you send a screenshot of your ServerRouter.tsx?
ServerRouter has stuff different from Blueprint anyways
@Emma if it imports the file
ServerElements.tsx
it's your problem. If it doesnt import this file you can delete itServerElements.tsx has not been touched iirc
It's not a file on default Pterodactyl, and therefor it can be deleted
This is a common error, the easiest fix is just deleting the file.
alrighty
Hey would it be possible to also make a plugin installer extension that works with modrinth and spigotmc?
Author of the minecraft modpack installer and the minecraft world manager extensions here: I'm currently working on a minecraft plugin installer and @root@david1117:~# is too

Could you bundle those when you add them to BBB?
& could you add nebula integration for the addons?
they automatically integrate with Nebula
Maybe one day
it'd be better if they integrated to the sidebar
and not into the extras page
Not for me to do
What part do you need
after fresh install @Emma it's still throwing that, and @Techno1Monkey
https://pastebin.com/86MGykfv (ServerRouter.tsx)
Pastebin
import TransferListener from '@/components/server/TransferListener'...
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
not really possible with current codebase
-- I dont know what decided to break but deleting Node_modules, Public, and resources and starting again after a rebuilt worked
you can do anything, you just need some more coffee
