What are spring staple clothes?

Hey everyone, I recently picked up a blue cotton sweater and green cotton sweater from j crew that I plan on wearing this spring. I have light wash and dark wash jeans and a good selection of shoes. I wonder what kinds of jackets should I wear though if I have on a cotton sweater, t-shirt, or long sleeve shirt? Also any other spring clothing recommendations is appreciated!
