cant use stretched res

every time i tab into valorant, it overrides my monitor settings and changes it to square with black bars rather than stretched res as set in my AMD settings. anyone know what could be causing this? happens on fullscreen fill and letterbox, borderless windowed, and windowed mode.

You have to set the resolution on windows as well Not just in valorant
