Cyberpunk 2077 not progressing past title screen

Hi, I'm new to Heroic so hopefully I'm doing something daft as others seem to have it running fine. I've installed the latest version of heroic on an up to date steam deck. I've linked Heroic to my GOG account and installed Cyberpunk. I click run, I get the loader where I get the option to login to sync saves etc. - I eventually found out that only opens a browser if you open the game from the desktop rather than the gaming mode; not a huge problem. I then click start game, I get the flashy cyberpunk logo title screen, it completes its animation and then boots me out when trying to load the next screen. No error, just closes the window. Looking through the "Read me first" post I notice that I'm running a non-wine proton version. Could this be the issue? If I do need a wine proton version, where do I get that from and how do I install it? Apologies if this is a common issue, I have had a search and can't find anything relevant. I've tried installing to local and SD card in case that was the problem, and tried all installed proton versions. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times. Thank you for any support Log file attached

Default Wine - Not Found, this is not good use the Wine Manager section in heroic and install the latest Wine-GE and set that one in the game's settings

Thank you, I knew there'd be at least one obvious thing wrong... Console gaming has spoilt me! I've installed Wine-GE-Latest, it then ran to the start screen and asked me to press a key I didn't have mapped to a button, I didn't have a keyboard and I couldn't get out of it cleanly because I was in desktop mode so I ended up having to hard restart. Trying to load now from the deck's gaming mode instead so I can map buttons etc. I get a different bunch of errors and again it dumps me out during the title logo screen. Same happens again when loading from the desktop
