Heroic stopped recognizing my nvidia GPU

I recently moved to a new place and after I moved my computer with NixOS I noticed that only heroic client and games through epic games cannot recognize the nvidia gpu I have RTX 2070 super. How can I fix it? It recognizing some virtual LLVM GPU insteam nvidia gpu and I have a lot of stuttering in games.

Go to the game page and in the three dots menu click force update if available

Nah its not the problem the same issue even after update Something in heroic client recognizes only virtual GPU instead the Nvidia one

not sure how this works on Nix but normally in flatpak I would first check that the nvidia runtime is up to date with the host one

Everything is updated the only strange thing is that the Nvidia GPU recognized correctly anywhere except heroic

the GPU games/wine see is indepent of what Heroic can see (you could have heroic not seeing your GPU and wine seeing it), so if wine can't see your GPU then the issue is not heroic but issues with your drivers also, heroic can see your GPU

but we just lunch wine, so it looks like wine can't see it

wine sees it with proton-ge 8.15 on steam but not on heroic so that's kind strange Yea I saw those lines

This is the correct log file. You just won't get any game output/errors since the game isn't running. Update it first, then re-check that log

Keep your Wine version the same it was before (or at least keep it on a Wine-GE version, not Proton)

I used proton ge all the time, now it was a test with regular proton

FWIW you're using Wine-GE in your first log, and only Wine-GE (or any Wine) produces helpful logs
