Is it weird to wear snowboarding gear casually?

the easiest way to give you an answer is on a case by case basis, post pics of you wearing outfits incorporating the gear you're talking about for feedback either here or in #styling-suggestions
gotcha. i don’t own any yet; i’ve just been staring at some of volcom’s snowboarding pants

oh I'd post the specific items you're looking at buying to get feedback on them then

like i’m not even very sure if i’d fit well into their men’s size brackets, but i’ll def be checking
think im with smiles on the one. any reasoning you're after snowboarding pants specifically? do you actually snowboard?
Man, my biggest question would be if you are inside all the time, wouldn't you overheat? Like... inside temprature is usually kept around 18C, and snow gear is meant for much colder than that.
looking to get into it. i mostly just figured i’d take a peek at what they were like.
the pants i mean. but i would def like to learn to snowboard
IMO ski gear/snowboard gear is so specialised, it doesn't make sense to try and make it do double duty as everyday gear.
id rather have surplus cargos, theyre like these but better
also no swishswish that way unless thats what u want

I think super big w i d e snowboard pants would be fun, but yeah I agree with the others that the ones you posted can easily be superseded by cargos
as someone who does ski they just would not be comfy to wear casually anyway
they are insulated and bulky and warm, plus having powder skirts on them would be annoying, as said cargoes will get the same look without the downsides
