yea it renders without optifine
time to move to fabric
fabric makes my game spasm every 3 minutes and idk why

what do you use to get fabric going?
try a modrinth modpack, really hard to mess those up
than you'll know if the problem is you or your system

in my experience fabric has stuttered more for me
but idk maybe it has changed between 1.20.1-1.20.4
opposite's true for me so ig it's ymmv type of stuff

its basically the same as like tf2 lag when the sound repeats
I now get less fps than optifine+shaders
idk why fabric runs so poorly
then in the meantime you can use embeddium+oculus instead of optifine i guess
but you'll be stuck with legacy shader support (no shading on lods)
they are on the wrong version
time to play on linux
