ROG ALLY Sd card
I have a rog ally and have bazzite on it, however I cannot for the life of me get my sd card to work, it works in the rog ally on a windows partition, also will work with a usb c to sd adapter but the sd slot does not work on bazzite. It does show this in the menu when I go to check storage (it is a 512gb Samsung sd card) and if I use a seperate sd card it doesn’t work either. I tried formatting it on kde manager and it doesn’t let me, it doesn’t let me format it here and I format it on a seperate pc successfully but it did not help.

i dont like it shows the wrong storage space
what format is the sd card?
just switch it to btrfs same exact thing still happening
can you switch to desktop and mount and browse it?
and see that its the correct storage space?
then go back to steam
i cannot mount and browse on desktop mode of the bazzite partition
you should be able to
nothing happens when it is inserted on bazzite
ok so you need to format it properly
i dont know what partition managers bazzite has, but gnome disk manager and gparted work
i have a pc with fedora im going to format it on this pc and plug it back into my ally and see what happens and let you know
Even on my fedora pc it can mount and it appears like this instead on the partition manger
it is working properly on other devices so odd, just my rog ally and only on the bazite partition
recreate the partitions table and make it btrfs

rog ally yes and i know sd card has issues as is but on the windows partition the sd card works in that slot
the sd card works as of when?
if i go to my windows partition it will work in that same slot right now i was just in it maybe 10 min ago and it works properly

did you recreate the partition table?
anyway thats all i got, recreate the partition table to GPT
make a btrfs primary partition and hope it works
Yea it’s not working I give up on it lol maybe my sd card reader is dying or something
Similar issue on legion go. Sd card works on Windows or bazzite with an external SD card reader but not in the internal reader
nobody has reported broken sd card on the go
