Mod works fine without shaders, breaks with

No matter what shaders I use, the moment I switch them on, the LODs disappear. I'm sure it's a common issue but I spent 30 minutes researching and didn't find any real results. Does NOT matter the shaders, or the settings. I tested Kappa (4.1, 5.1, 5.2), Bliss, Complimentary Reimagined, Complimentary, Astralex BSL, BSL, Sildurs Enhanced Default Fancy (may be incompatible, I know vibrant is, I read the compatibility list), PGTI HRR 2.1, HRR 2.1 GFME, HRR 3, and PGTI E12. Works fine when shaders are toggled off, and I can swap it on and off using the 'K' keybind, and LODs reappear instantly when toggling off. This is in Multiplayer, no players online, and my mod list is: - Distant Horizons 2.0.1-a-1.20.2 - Fabric API 0.91.6 for 1.20.2 - indium 1.0.27 for 1.20.1/2 - Iris 1.6.9 - Sodium 0.5.3 Reason is, newer sodium versions are incompatible with iris. Completely unsure why this happens!

you'll also need the dh nightly from #links-n-downloads i don't think it's directly mentioned on the iris server either you'll need to update to 1.20.4 or downgrade to 1.20.1 (not sure if downgrading is possible)

Upgrading works! Thank you. At first I was worried I was an idiot and missed something in this faq, but yeah, I hadn't assumed there would be a channel in iris about it. I'll upgrade & see how this goes! Should I leave this up incase, or mark as answered?

Oh dear, and another question, do you know if this is compatible with Laby? off hand, if not, I'll just try it in regular fabric like I was with 1.20.2 (current version I'm using) I don't really think adding another point of failure is a good idea so I'll just use fabric 1.20.4 to start Thank you!
