Possible to preload Select form input getSearchResultsUsing()?

Hi! I'm struggling with impelementing a custom search form input. Using the

getSearchResultsUsing()

getSearchResultsUsing()

function I've create a custom query based on the

$search

$search

attribute. But, I would like to pre-load this query, even when the

$search

$search

is still empty. Is it possible to preload this query? Thanks in advance!
