distant generation not working
attempt 2 at writing this and not letting the bot delete it will keep it concise
pc specs gtx 1050, i5-7400, 16gb ram (8gb allocated to mc)
world is singleplayer, creative, cheats
mods are attached (downloaded with iris installer.) Have tried launching with just dh and fabric api, dh+api+tectonic, all of the mods that come with the installer - same issues follow
dh main settings are: mod is enabled (it says true and is green which feels like a good sign) 256 render distance, extreme quality preset (is this how much the gpu is used?), I paid for the whole cpu, distant generation is enabled, show options enabled if thats relevant
So whats happening now that ive got the mod to load chunks at all is that all its doing is loading in chunks ive already been in and like i said it's a singleplayer world so it should have access to the chunks? real bummer because its working more like nvidium does and i cant actually see into the distant horizons.
also smth weird happens when i go into the LOD chunks theres like a circle and the lods fade around it but i am pretty sure thats because i am in spectator/creative mode flying around too quickly and there are also like 'cracks' in some of the chunks - i will attach images please help god i want this mod to work so badly
