are these jackets worth shortening in length
Got these 2 suits from goodwill for like $10 a piece. I'm aware that the sleeves are too long, the length is too long and the Navy one is a bit loose in the chest, waist area.
My question is about the length. I know its too long and was thinking maybe shortening 1 to 2 inches in length. I think tailors can do it and I know it won't be the cheapest alteration but it's $10 from goodwill in the first place, so it should be cheaper than buying off the rack.
I want some feedback if it's worth shortening. I'm aware that it may alter the distance between the pocket and bottom button. The good thing is that they are the same fabric so imo if the jacket is a tad longer its ok.
