cant talk nor hear my teammates in game
i can send messages in the text chat but nobody responds and when i try to talk in voice chat my icon doesnt pop up and nobody hears me

I use discord audio settings to check if my mic works, also check your audio settings in your val settings to see if your output/input is ur headset/mic
Did all that, everything works fine but val. i also see a big x over all my teammates in game
that means they're muted
it also means your mic isn't working or not recognized
bcuz for some reason you they mute everything if you dont have a mic

heck, ill just connect my music production setup to my pc then, gonna be awkward and hard to set up but ill be able to communicate

thats a possiblity however try to just connect a mic to your computer
