long lines because of flowers and other blocks too

How do I prevent these (for example) yellow lines from the flowers?
These screenshots are from the DEV-MEDIA chat but that's exactly what's in my world too and it annoys me.
The same thing happens with light from torches or other sources
If necessary, I can go into my world and take pictures there
