Very high latency when connecting to neon
Hi, I'm facing an issue when connecting to neon, it take too much time. I'm using CodeIgniter 4 & cloudflare. Btw the latency in local is around 300ms and on production it reach 3000ms. Anyone know why this is happening? Btw I'm from Indonesia & I choose Singapore for the region, not really that far right?

@Simon Höfle (simon1389) Is a cold start activating the database from idle to active, right? When I check the neon console, the status is active, not idle. and the latency still high

Yes that was what i meant by cold start 😀 but if it is alread active... i dont know

I just stumbled upon something interesting: when connecting to Neon locally while using Cloudflare DNS (Warp), I encountered a connection timeout. However, when not using Cloudflare, I can connect to Neon with around 200ms latency. I suspect the issue might be from deploying my app behind the Cloudflare proxy? probably

do you have the free neon plan? If yes, this is normal i think, you also need to use the local cloud center
