Teams & Vacancies
As PauseAI scales, it becomes increasingly important to have a hierarchy in place that keeps the organizational structure clear and keeps people accountable. A tried-and-tested structure for this is having Teams. We've had a bunch of discord roles (e.g. moderator, onboarding, datascience) for a while and some of these teams are already meeting on a regular basis, but the current approach has some problems that should be addressed:
- Teams should be more visible / recognizable. People should be able to easily know which teams exist, and where they can contribute to.
- We need clear vacancies to show where demand is high. The onboarding team should be able to direct people to specific vacancies where people are needed.

Add teams
in airtable
teamsWe create a new table in Airtable for
teams. We can add a description, name, and list team members there. We can also show who's the team leader. We change the /teams page to use these models, create a new view and use the profile pictures. Nice!Add vacancies
We add the
vacancies table and link each to a team, add a bunch of other fields (e.g. time required, skills, contact link). We also create a /vacancies page on the site and list all of them there. How you can help
