is that folder sync with one drive or google or any cloud service or local server?

can u provide more information on what happen when u copy the folder to desktop

its really hard to help if u dont provide information, did u right click the project copy then paste into desktop and it disappear?
For some reason desktop doesn't work in OneDrive
im confused are u running remote desktop or is this a pc
if its a pc dont use the folder onedrive
it will sync your files
and cause then to conflict unless u specify it not to
u better off using git for your projects over onedrive

If you want, you can download Anydesk, the usage is more comfortable and easier.

My work was deleted
well we did nothing that deletes it
so I dont see how that is possible
check your online onedrive for a copy of it
I have old backups of my code, good thing I will write again.

yeah use git and github
but you should have a copy of it on your onedrive because it was syncing your code folder

but since onedrive was synching he still should have a backup in his account
not sure how he deleted it, but all I asked was for him to make a copy using copy and paste not cut. so it shouldn't delete anything either way
so he either deleted in while removing onedrive app or something else

I mean I never heard of uninstalling onedrive moving your files to the recyle bin that would be awful
