Recruiting high profile high integrity people for a PauseAI advisory board

We should attempt to recruit highly respected, knowledgable, accomplished people with sufficient independence and a track record of integrity and honesty as well as being aligned with the mission.

Examples of people who might fit such a description:

Yoshua Bengio
Liv Deboree
Max Tegmark
Connor Leahy
Zwi Mowshowitz
John Vervaeke
Olle Häggström
Robert Miles
Roman Yampolskiy

I'd say, put them on the Board of Advisors, so that sort of recruitment. We'd have a very tiny ask of like 30min call once a month or something, or just be able to ask them for small pieces of advice when we need it.

for this group of people, 30 min once a month is not a small commitment, but I assume they share the sense of urgency on this particular topic, so it should absolutely be possible!

I have a couple of people in mind who have politcal backgrounds without expertise in the field who could help us gain currency with policymakers. Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, Ph.D., Aruna Miller(Lieutenant Governor of Maryland) and Yvette Lewis(MDP Chair 2019-2023) . I also am fairly close with Jamie Raskin's(very well know US Rep.) Deputy Chief of Staff. What do you all think about any of these as a board member. I think Raskin would be the best choice but any of the four would add legitimacy to the org. Cummings, Miller and Lewis would bring a minority voice to the table which is an important facet for our mission.
