valorant rank

did everyone else randomly derank a lot? i top frag against diamond and got placed gold 2, ive climbed to plat doing extremely well for a plat in these lobbies yet still can barely rank up. How does riot expect me to get out of diamond (my old rank) when i have to work just as hard to even get into diamond?
