help with region change

im moving regions and i just arived in my college dorm and i tried to change regions but somebody advised me i shouldnt as riot thinks that you are buying or selling accounts with it and will lock your account. what do i do to change my region safely from latam to NA texas please help if this is fixed with your help i will send 10 dollars paypal as a reward as i spent a lot of money on my account
