new LODs are not loading despite chunks being generated.

MC 1.20.1, using lots of optimisation mods including C2ME, just updated to latest DH stable candidate and iris 1.70, mc has about 6.5gb of ram allocated, using intel HD integrated graphics (i7-1185G7).
DH has default settings except for 128 draw distance.

DH was working previously on nightly builds, im not using iris shaders (<10fps yuck), have honestly no idea what is wrong.

Its a custom modpack, i could provide the list but its very long.
