Use 'Influencer Intelligence' to engage celebrities and influencers

In 2007, I used a database of influencers and celebrities which included their contact details, interests, and charitable affiliations. The database has since rebranded, so I don’t know exactly how it is now. But I can say that it had a high success rate for reaching celebrities/ influencers and securing their involvement in our campaign. However, it does have a high subscription fee.

Does anyone know any other charities/ non-profits interested in doing celebrity/ influencer outreach who might consider splitting the subscription cost?

Would anyone like a demonstration of the software to determine whether it would be useful for us? Is there any interest in fundraising for the subscription fee of this? Would any potential funders like to join the demonstration?

They will give the cost after a demonstration of the database on Tuesday at 3.30pm UK time and I'll update here. Anyone is welcome to join if they're free, otherwise the company could give another demonstration at a time that suits you.

I raised this idea in that thread. I was later encouraged to bump it here.

I just had a demonstration. The database is usually £4000 + VAT for a one-year licence, but they offer a special offer of £3000 + VAT if we get back to them soon.

I mean, it's a lot upfront. I dont' know what the best tools are in the space. You think this is the best one?

If so, then I think it'd be worth it. It's hard to find good influencer tools and leveraging that crowd is worth a shot for sure

I don't know other tools either. I have used this one before and it was effective in getting celebrities to support that non-profit campaign.

This is just a way to give our influencer efforts a leg up.

I tried the free trial for the Modash database. I'm not sure it will help us much since it's more targeted toward your average brand and what they might be looking for. They let you search for "ai" but nothing specific like "ai dangers" or "ai risks." also they severely limit how much you can search and download during the free trial (can't export many email addresses). I was strugging to find anyone using their search options who looked promising.

I feel like I was able to surface better prospects to contact just by searching for various terms in the search bars (like AI risks, AI will put artists out of work, etc.). If we can get a small team of people together to come up with interesting searches and angles (like groups of people who might be interested) and message these people with a pitch to collaborate and see which ones pan out, maybe we can get some engagement from influencers.
