Solution
It sounds like you're caught in a loop where Valorant and the Riot Client are blocking each other's uninstallation process. Here's a step-by-step guide to resolve this:

  1. Close Background Processes: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Under the "Processes" tab, look for any Riot-related services including "RiotClientServices.exe", "VALORANT.exe", and "RiotVanguard.exe". End these tasks if they are running.
  2. Restart Your PC: Sometimes, a simple reboot can clear out any blocked processes.
  3. Use Control Panel or Settings: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features or Settings > Apps and try uninstalling Valorant first. If Riot Client prompts appear, ensure no Riot processes are running as per Step 1.
  4. **Delete Remaining Files and Registry Entries**:
    • Navigate to the installation directories (C:\Riot Games and C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard) and delete these folders.
    • Run "regedit" to open the Registry Editor. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Riot Games and delete the Riot Games folder.
  5. Reboot Again: After manually deleting Riot-related files, reboot your PC and check if the Riot Client and Valorant are removed.
  6. Support Ticket: If the issue persists, consider contacting Riot Support for further assistance.
