On first view it looks nice and clear.
Not a fan of the icons on the forum cards though (feels a bit cheap), maybe just a flat icon with the same purplish background as the links.
First of all there are many inconsistencies within your border-radius.
- Site logo - No rounded corners
- The navbar button - Pill shaped
- Buttons - Rounded corners
- Explore our forums - No rounded corners
- Recent discussions - Rounded corners

The second half of the page looks great.
Layout is fine, the navbar should stick to the top and should always be accessible. Also once check the accessibility score of the color of the text in recent discussion title.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the heading. Needs some air :zz1_pepe_wink:
