Help me choose a double-knee pant?

I went to the store and tried on a bunch of double-knee pants. I see there's 2 types: a regular fit (I think it's called relaxed fit?), and a more loose fit. My 2 questions are:

Should I get regular fit or loose fit?
Should I get 30x30 or 30x32 (has more scrunch at the bottom)
Dickies vs Carhartt?

It looks like carhartt WIP double-knee is only in regular fit, does that seem right?
Whereas dickies has options for regular and loose fit.
